Why did you need to find a professional translation service like ICanLocalize?
We build websites for clients across Europe including in Germany, Switzerland, France and Italy. Because of this we generally need translations in at least French, German, Italian and English but also other languages.
We have relied on friends in the past for translations but we needed professional people who could help take on our increasing workload.
Why did you choose ICanLocalize?
Well, it was the price. It was so hard to compete with what you’re offering. The system is great. The communication with the translators is direct. We have no middleman in between. We also liked having different translators around the globe to work on our multiple projects.
We tried other plugins but as soon as we started using WPML we knew we needed a service which worked well with it. And so far we haven’t regretted it. The delivery has been fast, the quality high and the communication great.
What’s the best thing about using ICanLocalize?
It’s the fact that we can offer our clients this service with the knowledge that we can do it at a fast pace – whichever language they want.

How often do you use ICanLocalize?
A lot! We have to translate a lot of brochures and other items for printing as well as the website so we’re using ICanLocalize on a weekly basis I’d say. During the year we’ll translate around 50,000 words.
How quickly do the translators complete the tasks?
Very quickly and as importantly the communication is great. Jobs are always completed on time. For example, if I assign 2,500 words I know I will receive it within a week and it will be done and to a high standard. It’s great for the client.
What is the quality of the translations like?
They’re good. I’m not a native speaker but for our needs, they seem perfect. And whenever we have a lot of important work we can book more than one reviewer to ensure they are of a high standard if needed. It’s great to have that as a fallback.
