The hardware is accompanied by software, printed manuals, electronic help, a website and other internet-based resources, all of which require localization.

One of our expert translators localized elements of the user-interface for an oscilloscope into Spanish, making sure that it was written to be read by engineers. As requested, the translator ensured that the final piece was less formal than a scientific paper, but more formal than a consumer product manual. We also localized some customized PicoScope R6.5 menus into Italian, Spanish, German and French. These were intended for automotive mechanics using Pico Technology software, so our expert translators made sure to keep a technical style while maintaining accuracy.
