French to Dutch translators

As a sociologist and an anthropologist, during the past eight years, I obtained work experience within the academic world and the ngo sector, where I gained extensive writing, translating and research skills. I provide translation work (EN-FR-NL) especially in the field of social sciences, cultural issues, health care and human rights. Attention to detail and high quality results are priorities in my work.

Since 1989
Freelance translator, translating mainly technical documents (user guides, data sheets, maintenance guides, marketing materials, etc.) from English, French and German into Dutch (B and NL). The end clients are renowned companies in the automotive, electronics, consumer electronics, printing, engineering, energy etc. industries.
Another big part of my time is devoted to legal documents (contracts, dispositions, patents, court orders, other court documents, ...)

Although translating has always been a part of my former jobs, I finally decided, 10 years ago, to be a freelance translator because I was longing for a job that satisfies me, that challenges me and which allows me to dedicate myself a 100% to what I like and where I am good at. Due to my experience in different sectors, I do not only know how companies operate and work, I also have a clear insight into the non-profit and development sector.
